Back to the farm today and overnight to retrace my inspiration. Along for the ride is Steve from Lloyd-Smith Photography who will endeavour to capture video and stills of my journey from farming dust to saw dust.
We're putting together a short documentary to show before a demonstration.
And a chance to catch up with my Dad.

"Three Spirits"
As I needed a sock like vacuum bag I cut a small truck tyre, securing both ends with polythene pipe.
"Three Spirits"
After colouring the epoxy glue and wrapping in plastic I used cut bike tyre tub to secure the end

"Three Spirits"
I wanted to investigate sculpture using bent laminations so for South Western Times Survey Exhibition 2013 at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries thought I'd give this a try.
Using 3 formers made of aluminium, I bent into shape using a round hard cardboard tube to the desired shape
Using hot melt glue and plenty of small pieces of off cuts I finally had a template.
Making sure each piece is numbered and footprint drawn.
Shelving
Cutting, welding steel tubing for raking in the shed to store timber. Finally after 2 years all timber will be neatly stored by length in pigeon holes. This allows more floor space. I will then make movable tables with storage underneath, moveable clamp racks and MDF rack.
