Coffee Table - legs

The former was pre- drilled holes to hold clamps, this was to help secure the strap until all was tight and placed into a vacuum bag.

    Wow. Looks like a really promising project of yours. :) Metal straps have a really high-tensile strength and an intense load bearing capability. It is also highly resistant to rust and corrosion.
