Coral effect

I don't think I would have carved through the sheoak veneer if I hadn't wanted to. It's surprising how far you can carve and not break through.
When I carved through I then embellished with my coral form using a Osada Success 40 with 2mm and 0.6 mm grinding burrs.
(Osada Success 40 is quiet with no vibration, compared to a dremel) Not cheap but well worth the money when you are embellishing a lot.

I only carved through the sheoak skin on the larger sections as it would not have looked right. It was all random.
