When your spending 8 hours per day for 10 days embellishing you tend to go through the dremels. I purchased this tool (on the left with the blue light) It's quiet with minimal vibration.
Now I can listen to music while I work.
Hi Matt I acquired the micro motor at a jewellery supplier. It was a revelation to use no noise from the hand piece at all and no vibration. they normally have a quick release so you can change your burrs or what ever very easily. I haven't used the air hand piece so i don't know how they compare. the air hand piece goes faster, the micro motor go to 40000 rpm. hope this helps Cheers Neil
